The 2024 International Fly Fishing Film Festival, sponsored by Boone’s Fly Shop and High Country Guide Service and benefiting MountainTrue and the Watauga Riverkeeper, is coming to the Appalachian Theatre on Saturday, April 20.
The 2024 International Fly Fishing Film Festival is the world’s leading fly-fishing film event, consisting of films produced by professional filmmakers from all corners of the globe and showcasing the passion, lifestyle and culture of fly fishing. This film fest is the gathering place of the fly-fishing community and a celebration of friendship, fly-fishing stories and stoke.
IF4 proceeds will benefit MountainTrue’s Watauga Riverkeeper and help protect clean water in the High Country.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and showtime is at 7 p.m. Pre-ordered adult tickets are $10/each, and day-of-show tickets will be $15/each. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at the door — the raffle winner will be announced at intermission and receive gear donated by Boone’s Fly Shop and Watauga Riverkeeper/MountainTrue merch. Raffle proceeds support the continued work of the Watauga Riverkeeper.
