Join Asheville GreenWorks and businesses up and down Sweeten Creek as we remove years worth of accumulated trash and debris. After the cleanup please enjoy a FREE round of drinks courtesy of The Mule and Devils Foot. We will be STOMPING through this very urban stream removing trash, woody debris and tires. AGW will supply chest waders with rubber boots, tools, gloves and supervision.
Should you bring anything? Asheville GreenWorks will supply gloves, safety vests, trash grabbers, and trash bags for everyone. Please bring water and any personal items that you need.
Need to know
We strongly recommend that you wear the following so you can stay comfortable when wearing our chest waders:
Quick dry or athletic shorts T-shirt OLD pair of socks Hat & Sunglasses Change of shorts or comfy pants to slip on after the cleanup
